Automate Task Creation in Azure DevOps
Azure Magic Task Maker is a Chrome extension designed to streamline the process of creating tasks in Azure DevOps. This tool allows users to automatically generate tasks based on a selected list from their Azure DevOps sprint board, significantly reducing the time and effort typically required for manual task entry. It is particularly useful for adding tasks to User Stories, addressing a common challenge faced by developers and project managers.
The extension requires users to define their Personal Access Token on the options page. Once set up, users can select a list of tasks and simply click on `Create Tasks`. The extension not only creates the tasks but also attaches them to the current User Story and aligns relevant information, such as the iteration, to match the parent story. This functionality enhances productivity and helps maintain organization within project management workflows.
